Svirin Pro Bono is a website for enquiries from individuals who need initial legal assistance, a clear document or guidance on further action.
The applicant sends a description of the situation and documents. An initial review determines what assistance can be provided: a consultation, the text of a submission, guidance on evidence or a route for submitting documents.
Describe the situation and attach the documents you have.
Deadlines, documents and possible forms of assistance are assessed.
A legal position or a list of missing information is prepared.
You receive a consultation, draft document or course of action.
Briefly describe the problem, state the dates and attach contracts, responses from authorities, correspondence, photographs and other evidence.
A complaint should identify the recipient, circumstances, violations, request, list of attachments and contact details for a response.
Deadlines matter in many disputes. It is best to submit an enquiry promptly after receiving a refusal or discovering a violation.
Scans and photographs of documents, correspondence, records, receipts, notices, responses from authorities and a brief description of the outcome you need are suitable.
An initial assessment and individual documents may be provided free of charge within the pro bono project. If the matter is unsuitable for assistance, you will be informed and given guidance on a possible course of action.

Yes, you can submit an enquiry online. In some cases, clarification of regional rules or local documents may be needed.
Representation is possible only where legal grounds, documents and a separate agreement exist. The website does not promise to handle a court case automatically.
For an initial assessment, it is helpful to start with one specific question. For example, you may need to understand a refusal received, prepare a submission about unpaid money or determine which documents to request for further protection of your rights. Describing the desired outcome helps identify the first step and the materials relevant to it.
Set out the main events in order: what happened, when you became aware of the problem, what action has already been taken and what response was received. If a hearing date has been set or a document specifies the date of the next action, state it separately. This helps assess urgency without guesswork based on lengthy correspondence.
If the archive is large, prepare an inventory of files with a short explanation of their contents. Identify the documents directly relevant to the question first, and list the rest as supplementary. Preserve the page sequence and attachments mentioned in the main document.
A missing document is also useful information: state who may hold it and what is known about it. The initial assessment may help formulate the next request or clarify the document set. The account of the situation makes it possible to discuss a specific scope of assistance within a private project while keeping the applicant's expectations clear.
Keep the enquiry to which the response relates and the response in full. The assessment needs to compare the original request with what was actually considered. An isolated statement of refusal, without attachments and the stated grounds, may not reveal the reason for the decision.
It is helpful to note three things: what question you asked, what the recipient said and what remains unclear. For example, a response may refer to a missing document, another organisation or information the applicant believes is incorrect. These situations require different preparation for the next step.
The next document should be framed around a specific discrepancy. Requests to explain the grounds of a decision, provide information, correct an error and reconsider the outcome concern different subjects. They should not be combined without explaining what needs to be obtained.
If new documents became available after the response, list them separately and state when they were received. This helps distinguish a repetition of the earlier enquiry from a question arising from new information. The initial assessment can identify which material needs clarification and which next document fits the situation described.
